COURSES BY SKILLS 4 PHARMACY
We have reached a new age for apprenticeships. No more are they for young people to get a foot on the ladder. Anyone in your business, from entry level to CEO, can enrol onto a relevant apprenticeship, no matter their prior attainment – as long as they can demonstrate that there is a business need, where additional skills and knowledge will be achieved. Apprenticeships allow businesses to combine work and study by mixing on-the-job training and traditional learning, with the help of our delivery team. Your new or current employees will be doing their real job while studying for a formal qualification. By the end of their apprenticeship, they will have gained the skills and knowledge needed to enhance your business from within.
The wage bill of your business will inform which funding route you need to tap into. You can read more below, but to be honest, you don’t need to worry about that; simply let us know what you need and leave the hard work to us.
Those with an annual wage bill under £3m do not pay the Apprenticeship Levy. Instead, for employers with 50 or more employees 95% of each apprenticeship is funded by the government whilst a 5% investment is required by the employer to enhance the skills of their employee, employers may also be eligible for a £1000 incentive payment if the apprentice is aged 16 – 18. For employers with less than 50 employees and where the apprentice is aged 16 – 18, the government will fund 100% of the apprentice and may be eligible for a £1000 incentive payment. For those aged 19+ the government will continue to fund 95% of the apprenticeship programme whilst a 5% investment is required by the employer.
The Apprenticeship Levy was launched to encourage employers to use apprenticeship programmes, either for new staff or to upskill an existing employee, to help reduce the skills gap within England’s workforce. The levy applies to all businesses with wage bills of more than £3m.

"Easy to follow"
I completed my level 2 pharmacy dispensing course in 2016. I found the modules easy to follow and the company have been very helpful if I've ever had a query. I will be doing my level 3 pharmacy technicians course with Skills4 because they have been helpful.
