Sarah has been with Skills 4 since its launch in 2015 and is an integral member of the team. Strong organisational and administration skills together with an aptitude for establishing robust links with employers, learners and colleagues. Sarah ensures the Integrated e-portfolio and assessment management tool enables direct communication between the learner and the assessor.
Part of Sarah’s role is recruitment and arranging inductions and is proactive in doing so, working alongside Business Development and the Assessors who work directly with pharmacies. Reports to enable effective performance management across the business is another string to her bow.

Qualified Pharmacist for over 25 years. Tutor, Trainer and Assessor, as well as Managing Director of Skills 4. Launched as an Apprenticeship Training Provider back in 2015 Skills 4 has since grown the provision and widened the geographical coverage of the organisation.
Amerjit set up Skills 4 to help young people enter in and eventually become the future of our pharmacy industry. Amerjit is proud that Skills 4 has taken young people through level 2 then level 3 programmes and watched them develop into fantastic technicians.
Interested in connecting with Locums, Pharmacy Technicians and indeed other like-minded Tutors and Pharmacists, to further develop their career as NVQ Assessors for freelance delivery of apprenticeships at Intermediate Level 2 and Advanced Level 3 Pharmacy Technician Level.
Director and Welfare Officer

Cordelia has been with Skills 4 since in inception as a Director and more recently taken on the role of Welfare Officer (safeguarding) which involves a top down approach to all learners when it comes to their welfare and general wellbeing, as well as dealing with any safeguarding concerns.
Business Development is another side to Cordelia’s role and is pivotal, working well with employers, organisations and the wider pharmacy network to promote Skills 4.

Bev joined the company in November 2019 after working closely with Skills 4 for over 4 years as part of their successful and ongoing working partnership with Learning Curve Group as one of their long-standing subcontractors.
Bev brings several years in work-based learning with a background in assessing, IQA and management, alongside strong operational, organisational and quality skills, knowledge and experience to Skills 4. Part of Bev’s role is safeguarding and prevent officer.
Quality Lead

Catherine qualified as a pharmacy technician in 1975 and has worked predominantly in hospital practice but has experience in community and dispensing doctor practice. Over 20 years ago, Catherine specialised in Pharmacy Education and Training and achieved the relevant assessor and IQA qualifications as well as achieving qualified teacher status.
As well as her role as Quality Lead at Skills 4, Catherine is an External Quality Assurer for City and Guilds awarding body and works as an associate for the General Pharmaceutical Council as part of the qualification accreditation team and as a member of the Fitness to Practice Committee.
Catherine’s role includes managing the quality of delivery in assessment and teaching, preforming internal quality assurance and teaching on the pharmaceutical science courses.
NVQ Assessor

Jean joined the company in February 2016 after working as a pharmacy technician and ACT for over 30 years. Jean has also completed the NHS Mary Seacole Leadership training programme and continues to develop and learn in all aspects of pharmacy.
Jean’s role has a wider cross organisation element as a lead assessor and is instrumental in supporting colleagues, learners and employers to achieve joint goals.
Assessor

Rachael returned to Skills 4 in June 2019 as an Assessor for the NVQ in Pharmacy Services. Supporting learners with keeping them on track with functional skills, inductions and general support throughout their programme.
Rachael brings over 25 years pharmacy practice experience and has represented pharmacy at a national level within the Royal Pharmaceutical Society and Department of Health. She has proven skills in managing and motivating learners, employers and staff to achieve their goals.
Functional Skills Tutor

Gerard joined Skills 4 in November 2019 as a dedicated Functional Skills Tutor to work directly with our learners to see them through to successful completion of Functional Skills. He is a qualified Teacher of English Language and Literature to Advanced Level and a graduate of Bristol University’s Honours degree in “Religion with Literature”. Gerard has been teaching since 1990.
Gerard’s teaching philosophy is based on the development of every student, through building self-confidence and self-esteem. He has high and realistic expectations of every pupil, to enable them to reach their full potential and behave in a suitable manner. This can be achieved by providing good quality first-hand experiences, which are stimulating and interesting.

Lindsay joined Skills 4 in February 2019, after working 26 years at BAE Systems.
Lindsay has a wealth of experience of administration, secretarial and health and safety (NEBOSH trained).
Lindsay is enjoying her role at Skills 4 which has proved to be an exciting, fulfilling change of career and looks forward to contributing to the continuing success of the business.
