Skills4Pharmacy is Pharmacy Apprenticeship training provider dedicated to initiating and furthering the careers of Pharmacy Technicians and Pharmacy Support Workers. We take pride in delivering high-quality training programmes to learners and have a team of tutors ready to guide and support learners on their journey to certification. Skills4Pharmacy Level 2 Apprenticeship Standard for Pharmacy Support Workers is accredited by the General Pharmaceutical Council as meeting their requirements for pharmacy support staff.
Our courses have all of this is included… A trainee guide to explain how the programme works, a dedicated tutor, access to your own online portfolio including a video on how to use it, e-workbooks covering various pharmacy practice and clinical topics, multiple choice questions at the end of each workbook to test your learner’s knowledge, practical tasks and written assignments to cover the unit requirements of each qualification. Expert witness training to support the Pharmacist or Pharmacy Technician acting as a workplace supervisor.
Support… Once we’ve set the learner up on their new programme, our friendly team will be in touch regularly to help them complete their programme and gain their qualification. We track progress and are always happy to help and support a learner and Tutor in any way we can.

Apprenticeship Standard Course For Pharmacy Support Workers
This course develops confidence in the pharmacy in a range of skills including- meeting individuals’ needs, teamwork, health and safety, preparation and issuing of prescribed medicines or the ordering, receipt and storage of pharmaceutical stock, with alternative options available for specialist work areas, such as technical service.
Diploma in Principles and Practice for Pharmacy Technicians
This two year course forms part of the criteria to enable the successful learner to register with The General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) as a Pharmacy Technician. As well as supporting learners to acquire the skills and knowledge required by a Pharmacy Technician, appropriate professional behaviours are developed over the two years, preparing the individual for the rewards and challenges of a modern, changing pharmacy profession.
We monitor learners progress and keep in contact with them frequently.
We at Skills4 believe having the ability to communicate directly with our learners is an important key to a successful learning experience.
Support Where Required
Our teaching team is on hand to offer learners additional support when required
Learners will receive a password-protected personal online portfolio to submit their work to their tutor and review progress.
Employers are given access to OneFile so they can also monitor progress and support development.
At Skills 4 Pharmacy we have the welfare of learners, employers, parents and anyone working with us at the very heart of what we do as training provider.
